Faith doesn’t have to be awkward. (Okay… maybe a little awkward. But never alone.)
At Nevada UMC, our teens are invited to ask real questions, build real friendships, and discover a faith that actually holds up in real life.
Sunday mornings after worship, our students gather for Donuts & Devos — because good conversations start with sugar. This is a space created just for them: honest questions, Scripture that connects to everyday life, and conversations that feel more like dialogue than lecture.
No pressure. No perfect answers required. Just space to explore faith together.
After home football games in the fall, the lights stay on at the Community Center. From 9–11 pm, students gather for 5th Quarter — a safe, high-energy, all-fun environment to celebrate, unwind, and hang out with friends.
It’s loud. It’s joyful. It’s supervised. And yes, there are snacks.
Each summer, we head to UNITE Students at Central Methodist University — a week that students often describe as life-changing.
UNITE is more than camp. It’s transformative worship, dynamic teaching, spiritual practices, electives, and small groups — all magnified by the voices of hundreds of students and leaders gathered in one sacred space. There’s intentional time to process what’s heard, space to explore together, and downtime to simply be. Take a look at the highlight reel from last year below!
2026 Theme: In Tension
Next summer, students will explore what it means to follow Jesus in a world that doesn’t always make sense.
Rooted in the Beatitudes and the stories of Jesus, In Tension wrestles with the beautiful pull between: strength and humility, power and peace, justice and comfort. Through worship, play, and honest conversation, students will discover how God shows up right in the middle of life’s messiest contradictions.
We believe teenagers don’t need watered-down faith.
They need a place where their doubts are welcomed, their voices matter, and Jesus meets them exactly where they are.
And we’re here for that.
